how to find talented bloggers

How to Find Bloggers with Bucketloads of Talent!

So you’ve heard all about how blogs are really great for your business, and will get those customers rolling in – awesome!

Only thing is, who’s got time to write all these amazing blog posts, when, you know, you’ve got a business to run?

That’s when choosing a blogger to help you out with your company’s blog can really make a difference. Of course, it’s not just a case of finding any old blogger and hoping they can work their bloggy magic!

It takes just a little more effort than that.

So if you’re scratching your head, wondering how to find bloggers with the talent to make your blog the one everyone’s raving about, here are a few simple pointers:

Do they know their grammar?

It sounds like pretty basic stuff, but it’s one you’ve got to keep an eye on!

Remember – the blogger you choose will be representing your business to the world via your blog – the last thing you want is some smug customer pointing out typos on your website. Right?

Do they get you?

More importantly, do they get your product? Do they understand what it is you do? And what it is that makes you unique?

Finding a blogger who can write isn’t the be-all and end-all of it. It’s vital that they can communicate what’s so great about what you do, in a natural and easy-to-read way. Ask to see their portfolio, and don’t be afraid to ask them questions about their experience.

Is it a match made in heaven?

You know the feeling when you meet someone and you just… click. Everything’s in sync. You understand each other. You know what each other’s thinking. You finish each other’s sentences… ok, maybe you don’t have to go that far!

But when you’ve found the right blogger, you’ll know it.

They’ll write in a style that is right for your business. They completely understand what you stand for. And you won’t have to keep chasing them for work – or end up having to do all the hard work for them.

Basically, a blogger from heaven!

  1. Im thinking about out sourcing my blogging, i find it difficult to juggle the regular work and blogging and then social media on top – Plus my written english doesn’t flow the same as a professional copywriters does.

  2. It definitely does have to be a match made in heaven, they are writing as if they are you and that extension of your mind has to be able to match up with the other blog content or the readers might end up confused and put off.

  3. Outsourcing some of your blog posts can be a good idea if you find a writer that knows what they are doing and can provide content that you don’t have to worry about.

    1. Author

Agreed. But needless to say, if you have the time – it’s great to knock up your own content too (if you have the writing skills). Content marketing is super powerful these days – and the more content the merrier! So if you need powerful, regular, converting content – you now where to find us!

      Thanks for your comments

  4. There are so many bloggers out there that they may talent and they may write very well grammatically, but they might not fit your blog and that to me is the hardest part of finding a copywriter.

  5. The chimpanzee picture is very accurate to some of the work I have received lately from my contractors. I’m being totally serious as that’s what I picture when I read it.
